This Years workshops Are Coming Soon

Last Years workshops involve: Binary jewelry, giant Pig Pen cipher and barefoot Towers of Hanoi, STEM-tastio, Expedition to the International Space Station, Lego We-DO 2.0, exploding rockets, 3D Filming and lots more!

We are pleased to announce that the next Digital Leaders Conference will take place at Stroud School in Romsey on the 16th of November 2017. This follows an incredibly successful event held in London in Nov 2012, at BETT in January 2013 and at KES in both 2014 and 2015.  Have a look at this blog to see the learning that took place at DLKidsmeet. To see what we did in 2014, click here.

We are inviting groups of Digital Leaders to meet at Stroud School, for a day of learning and sharing. The event will start at 10.00am with presentations from children on their favourite projects of the previous school term. After lunch they will head off to undertake challenges in cross school groups, with public outcomes that will have impact in their own institutions and beyond. This event is for older primary school children, as well as secondary digital leader groups.

Children will learn valuable skills throughout the day, including social and communication skills as they work in teams with students they meet on the day. They will also hear from a number of technology companies and learn about the complexities involved in building a successful technology business.

We would like to invite 10 schools to bring along 5 or 10 representatives supervised by at least one adult. A total of 75 children and 10 teachers plus any accompanying adults that would like to attend. There is parking onsite, please contact rlw@kes.hants.sch.uk to arrange parking if required.

We would look to start the day at Stroud School at 10.00am, with a short morning break at 11am and lunch held at 1pm, which is provided by the school and sponsors.
