10.30am - 3.30pm

North Gallery Rooms 4-5

Excel Exhibition Centre

Travel information

We are pleased to announce that the next KidsMeet has been scheduled for January 2013. This follows an incredibly successful event held in London in Nov 2012. Have a look at this blog to see the learning that took place at DLKidsmeet.

WHAT IS IT?

We are inviting groups of Digital Leaders to meet at the BETT Educational Technology Exhibition on January 30th at the Excel Centre, East London. The event will start at 10.30am with presentations from children on their favourite projects of the previous school term. After lunch they will head off to investigate and report on the world's largest Educational Technology Exhibition. It should be a fantastic and exciting day for all involved!

KIDSMEET TAKEOVER

Another fabulous initiative that is happening once again at BETT2013. If you would like to take your students to BETT2013, visit and sign up on the Wiki space.

WHY?

Children will learn valuable skills throughout the day, including social and communication skills as they work in teams with students they meet on the day. They will also hear from a number of technology companies and learn about the complexities involved in building a successful technology business.

HOW MANY ATTENDEES?

We would like to invite 10 schools to bring along 4/5 representatives supervised by at least one adult. A total of 50 children and 10 teachers plus any accompanying adults that would like to attend.

TIMINGS

We would look to start the day at the Excel Exhibition Centre at 10.30am and wrap up by 3.30pm. There will be a short 30 minute lunch break from 1pm.
